Body

Hi Sarah, Just circling back on INV-2031 (sent 12 days ago). No rush if you've already kicked it to your AP team — just wanted to make sure it didn't get buried. Let me know if anything's holding it up. Thanks, Marcus

AI rationale: Sarah's usually a fast payer — soft, friendly first nudge with a no-rush opt-out matches her tone history.

The kind difference

Most invoice tools chase. DueKind helps you stay kind.

Generic dunning software writes like a debt collector. Your clients are people. Read both versions of the same reminder — you'll know which one keeps the relationship.

Quick check-in on INV-1042

Hi Sarah, Just circling back on INV-1042 (sent 12 days ago). No rush if you've already kicked it to your AP team — just wanted to make sure it didn't get buried in the queue. Let me know if there's anything holding it up on my side. Thanks, Marcus

Sounds like the human who runs the business.

What's inside

Three things you don't get from your accounting software.

An approval queue, not a send button

Every reminder is a reviewable draft — edit the tone, swap a phrase, or skip entirely. Nothing goes out unless you say so.

Drafts that read like you wrote them

The AI looks at the client's tone history, payment behaviour, and the invoice context — then writes the way you actually email.

AI rationale

“Sarah replies within a day on average. Her last 4 invoices were paid early. A soft, friendly nudge matches her pattern — no firmer language needed.”

New in DueKind

Follow up at the right moment, with the right tone.

Three new ways to chase less and recover more — without ever sounding like a collections agency.

Know the moment they open it

Reminders link to a private, branded invoice page. When your client opens it, you'll see it — so you follow up at the right time instead of guessing in the dark.

Step up the tone, not the threats

Friendly → Professional → Firm → Final, one click each. DueKind suggests the next step from age, missed promises, and opens — and never writes a legal threat or late-fee scare.

Suggested: opened twice, 14 days overdue, no reply → Firm

Never miss a “we'll pay Friday”

Every promised date lands on one calendar, with slipped promises flagged in clay — so the Monday after a promise never quietly disappears.

Questions

Invoice follow-up, answered plainly.

DueKind is built for service businesses that want receivables help without aggressive dunning software or inbox automation they don't control.

What is DueKind?
DueKind is an approval-first receivables assistant for small service businesses. It tracks unpaid invoices, drafts polite payment reminders with AI, and sends them from your own Gmail or Outlook inbox only after you approve each message.
Does DueKind send reminders automatically?
No. DueKind is approval-first by design. Every reminder is a reviewable draft — you can edit, snooze, skip, or approve before anything leaves your inbox.
Which tools does DueKind integrate with?
DueKind connects to Gmail and Outlook for sending. You can add clients and invoices manually or import them from CSV.
Who is DueKind for?
DueKind is built for freelancers, agencies, consultants, and other service businesses that send invoices and want to follow up professionally without sounding like a collections agency.
Is DueKind a debt collection service?
No. DueKind helps you draft and organize payment follow-ups. It does not provide legal, accounting, or collections advice, and it never sends threatening or automated dunning messages without your review.
How much does DueKind cost?
DueKind is free to start. The Free plan includes the full approval-first queue with monthly caps (25 reminder sends and 25 AI drafts). Solo is $9.99/month and Team is $24.99/month, billed through Lemon Squeezy — they raise the limits and unlock draft refinement, the firmer tone ladder, client insights, attachments, accounting sync, and (on Team) teammates.
Which AI does DueKind use, and what does it see?
Drafts are written with Google's Gemini models. Your invoice and client details are sent to the AI only when you generate or refine a draft — never to send automatically. Every draft waits for your review. See the Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
What happens if I cancel?
You can cancel anytime in Settings. Paid features stay active until the end of the billing period, then the workspace returns to the Free plan. There is no lock-in — export your data first if you like. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. You can export your workspace data anytime from Settings, and deleting your account removes the user and cascades workspace data from our database.
